SELETTI presents: NUVOLA

Nuvola is a table lamp whose shapes evoke a cartoonish and archetypal version of the FIAT 500, one of the most famous cars in the world and a symbol of Made in Italy and Italian design.
The lamp originates from an artwork created by artist Gabriele Picco in 2005 for the Madonie Park in Sicily. The work reflected on themes of emigration from Southern Italy, while also celebrating the beginning of a new era of prosperity and creativity.
"I had imagined it as a lamp from the very start—a tribute to lightness and dreams that could illuminate the cherished corners of our homes," says Picco.
Nuvola is deeply tied to the idea of travel, expressed poetically and imaginatively. A stylized cloud rests on the roof of the 500, housing an LED available in various colors. Its gentle, diffused light conveys a sense of dreaming and the desire to escape to distant worlds, blending reality with imagination.
This lighting project adds another piece to the multifaceted mosaic of Seletti's work, which over the years has transformed unique works of art into accessible and functional decorative objects, while preserving their aesthetic appeal and iconic essence.
